Delta9 Recordings has a scope which stretches throughout the most creative parts of Europe, places which are renowned as a hotbed for music, as well as a breeding ground for artists. From Berlin, Germany to Bergamo, Italy, the label has built itself on top of these two cities, bringing forward artists from the continent’s furthest reaches and pushing them onto the pedestal provided for them by the label.
After his appearance on UKF's "Ones to watch in 2019" we're very happy to welcome the mighty Felix Raymon in the Delta9 Recordings family delivering a high quality EP together with homeboys Invadhertz, Cologne based sweetheart Jamal Dilmen und the angelic voice of Bella Luna.
First to be unveiled is ‘So I’, a record which begins with a deep atmo and soulful Bella Luna's vocals, peppered by top percussions which juts out from between each layer. It’s an introduction into Felix Raymon and if it’s your first insight into his artistry; you become aware of how immersive his production is. ‘High’, the title track, created in collaboration with the homies Invadhertz and the amazing voice of Jamal Dilmen will bring you into another dimension thanks to its deepness and atmospheres. The EP continues with Despair which is another quality gem into his "High EP" properly crafted with sharp drums and energic deep build up which show again the elegant concept of this tune.
Ending the EP is ‘Home’, one which draws you in through its immense bass hits which are like a heartbeat. As ‘Home’ descends, you’re thrown into loops of crashing drum pounds, something which is unmistakably a part of Felix Raymon’s engineering. As a collective, every track featured demonstrates Felix Raymon’s appeal as an addition to any DJ set. This is something which will continue with the help of Delta9 Recordings, an imprint who are already leaving their own legacy.
It’s another EP which is set to reaffirm why Delta9 Recordings is becoming a name that’s synonymous with high quality.
