Based in Palermo, SD is one of the most promising Italian newcomers. His sound space from classic liquid DNB to the most weird and experimental stuff, passing through the classic deep and rolling vibes. An example of these rolling but weird kind of sounds is the brand new single on Delta9 Recordings: Epinephrine.

‘Epinephrine’ features a meandering bassline, one which zips and flies between every pattern of shattering bass loops. SD grinds further and further into an intricately trippy mix, underpinned by thumping sub bass and greedy swathes of static. Each horn of sonic goes on to create an intimidating force, one which grows stronger with every well-engineered segment. And on the flipside, comes ‘Oxyde’, with shaking trails of bass and clicking beat instrumentals, pulling you deep into its tightly-knit composition and allowing you to become fully enveloped in SD’s deep and rolling production standard.

Together, they give a perfect snapshot into what SD means as an artist: powerful minimalism, unstoppable basslines and a tendency to lie on the darker side of the drum & bass spectrum.
